Reports and Open Meetings

Throughout more than 200 years of the Society's history, our founding aim of ‘keeping alive the spirit of inquiry’ has never felt more important. We value clarity and aim to demonstrate how we continue to support research and communication in the field of sciences – whether it is reporting on how we fund the scientists of the future, through our travel and research grants, or explaining the aims of the Society to our Fellows and the wider interested community. Our accounts and annual returns can be viewed on the Charity Commission website here.

Fellows of the Society are invited to take part in the General (Open) Meetings of the Society taking place in-person on: 20 October 2025 (Annual General Meeting), 1 December 2025, 9 March 2026, 11 May 2026, and 6 July 2026. Fellows wishing to attend a meeting should contact the Society Office at philosoc@group.cam.ac.uk at least two weeks before the meeting to register their interest.
